66 SRT Charger Restomod
What originally started out just a simple get running and driving right and safe, has blossomed into a full blown restomod. A couple years ago, we tuned up the motor, did some brake work, and replaced the non-functioning gauges with a custom one-off set from Dakota Digital. Since then we’ve been pulling the motor in place of a 6.1 SRT hemi from a ’08 Charger, replaced a lot of rotten sheet metal, including a full floor, added some disc brakes & new wheels & tires. The owner then had it resprayed with a custom mix of the original color but with a little more “pop”. We’ll be finishing up final assembly soon, dropping in some new carpet & seats, and hope to have this out at a number of shows this summer. Stay tuned for some final pics.
